Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist & Office Assistant - Part Time Murphy Distributors is a fast growing wine and spirits distributor.

Responsibilities:
Access A/R reports and devise a plan of customer contact for outstanding invoice payments Use a systematic approach to contact and follow up with customers for collections Maintain a professional, fair, friendly but firm demeanor in customer collections conversations Stay persistent in efforts to collect and escalate cases of non-payment to management at pre-determined overdue time thresholds Maintain an orderly and complete set of notes regarding all contacts attempted and made.
Make sure all customer commitments to pay are recorded and promptly followed up on.
Maintain files Perform other accounting and office tasks as may be assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma Experienced in collections Positive and upbeat phone personality An ability to remain professional and calm during collections conversations Competency in MS Office, especially Excel and Office Perform other accounting and office tasks as may be assigned Ability to learn Windows based office software Prior office experience Please submit your resume to be considered.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
