We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team.
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of our table linens for event rentals.
This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to company standards - Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines - Inspect laundry items for stains, damages, or defects - Follow proper procedures for handling and storing laundry chemicals - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area - Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow Skills:
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundering is preferred - Knowledge of different fabrics and their care requirements - Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment effectively - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Good communication skills to interact with colleagues -Ability to stand and use a full range of motion for long periods of time.
