We are currently searching for a passionate and experienced Clinical Operations Director to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the success and expansion of care program while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders including the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Director, Head of Product, and Operations team.

Responsibilities:
1.
Expansion and Operations:
Lead efforts to expand footprint and operations.
Manage the process of obtaining and renewing state licenses for providers, utilizing external resources when necessary.
Ensure compliance with corporate practice of medicine requirements in new states.
Oversee credentialing functions to enable providers to practice with contracted payer partners.
Drive the growth of clinic size.
2.
Provider Recruitment and Onboarding:
Own the recruitment and onboarding process to establish a distinctive employer brand among therapists.
Utilize clinical capacity modeling to determine hiring needs based on patient volume and state coverage.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director to optimize clinical efficiency while enhancing the therapist experience.
Supervise the Admissions function to streamline the process of admitting new patients into care.
3.
Quality Clinical Service Delivery:
Coordinate internal meetings and initiatives related to CareOps system, emphasizing quality improvement practices.
Establish procedures and processes in collaboration with the clinical team to ensure consistent operations and a positive patient/provider experience.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance the quality of care and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and address deficiencies in care program.

Financial Sustainability:
Oversee billing operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims in compliance with regulations.
Monitor revenue cycle performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue and minimize denials.

Leadership and Team Management:
Provide strong leadership to the Clinical Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop team members, offering guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.
Promote effective communication and collaboration across departments to align with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Required:
7
years of experience in healthcare services, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of key stakeholders and industry trends.
5
years in a Clinical Operations role overseeing multiple teams and driving operational excellence.
Strong affinity for and success in people management, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
Proficiency in healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and billing practices.
Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously in an early-stage company environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a growth mindset and a focus on scalable solutions.
Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of tools such as Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt to change and innovation.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Passionate about mission with a commitment to contributing to its success.
Ability to travel approximately once a quarter for team meet-ups.
Preferred:

years of experience in mental healthcare services with knowledge of behavioral health trends.
2
years at an early-stage startup, demonstrating familiarity with the startup environment.
Clinical experience and the ability to connect with clinical teams.
Demonstrated experience in building Clinical Operations functions.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
This full-time, exempt position reports to the COO and offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $125,000-$150,000, along with equity, unlimited PTO, a healthcare stipend, 401(k) with matching, annual work-from-home productivity stipend, annual education stipend, and paid parental leave.
