We are seeking an HR Assistant to work at our main office location.
General Description of Position:
The HR Assistant provides support to everyone in the main office by answering phones, directing visitors, and answering questions.
The HR Assistant is responsible for various clerical work such as filing, typing, sorting mail, making copies, data entry, etc.
The HR Assistant also assists the Assistant Executive Director in many HR functions such as recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling trainings.
Professionalism and confidentiality a must.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 9a-5p= 40 hours per week Job Expectations:
Must be Professional and Reliable Scheduling interviews, phone screening candidates, new hire paperwork Comfortable with Computers including computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, etc.
Experience with telephone etiquette, answering and transferring calls, and taking phone messages.
Experience with typing, writing letters, filing, and mailing out documents.
Experience with HR or Background check software a plus.
(will train) Experience working with intellectual disabilities a plus.
